Tjanting Large

The Batik tjanting from Jacquard is a pen-like tool with a large opening. A tjanting is a traditional tool used to apply melted wax to fabric. The tjanting consists of a varnished wooden handle with a soldered brass container for wax and a filling hole and spout. The tjanting can, for example, be filled with soy wax from the tixor malam.
